Had really been looking forward to the staff residential tomorrow and Tuesday, was asked to provide a couple of days fishing for any of the staff who wanted to join in as we are discussing rest and relaxation after work to reduce stress. So Strangford Lough was the venue, should be plenty of dogs, thornies and other species about, bait has been ordered, new gear delivered to the outdoor education centre and boat booked for it all ..... then some little scroat goes and stabs me in the hand during a scuffle in the bar last night, so have ended up with stitches and a useless hand for holding or gripping anything so looks like the most fun I will have is watching the others catch

Both mate ... will be charged during the week hopefully, when I give a statement into the PSNI .... the git is lucky to be alive as well as he ran out in front of a car and got hit by that trying to escape the inevitable. Still I think I'd have out sprinted Lindford Christy the mood I was in last night mate

cheers lads .... dickie bow and suit will be hung up in the near future Ron mate, and as for holding a pint thnakfully I'm right handed so all good there, going to be a right pain in the backside holding my boat rod tomorrow though so will require several large doses of pain relief in the bar tomorrow night lol .....



Has Shona got her summer programme planned of yet Ron?? I'm in the middle of mine, the Cross Community group we have been working with the past few years will have run it course this summer so looking for another link up and with the ESA about to come into play, Ballymena might be a good option for us

Shona still planning her summer scheme Colin....planned for first two weeks in August........she say to give her a bell at B'keel or I'll forward you her mob number in a text,...................she is doing a couple of CC progs at the mo but even if not this summer scheme maybe late in the year?

Cheers Ron .... later in the year sounds good for me mate, hoping to get this years summer prog over and develop a couple of CC progs for my seniors and youth forums with maybe a couple of residentials built in, Strasbourg for the Court of Human Rights and possibily The Burren in Co Clare to for some R&R

Thanks Rodney ... hand is doing good today, was difficult holding the boat rod while deep sea fishing in Strangford Lough yesterday, but hopefully the stitches will be out at the weekend or early next week mate
