Any tips of flogging a full carp set up without having to resort to bits at a time on ebay?

hi john if you sell your kit you might regreat it in a few months time. if you like carp fishing find another person to join up with and try waggler fishing for carp its great fun best wishes lewieIm tempted to sell all my carp gear and go back to "real" fishing simply because i took up carp fishing to spend time with my brother and my mate, now neither of them go i cant see the point so i might as well go back to waggler fishing.

Trade it in to one of the local tackle shops mate, that way you can get some new gear while you are doing the deal
Only tackle shop near me is owned by a right nob mate so he wouldn't be up for it.

Not sure mate, i coarse fished for over 20 years before i got in to carping and i only got in to carping so i could spend some time with an old mate who i didn't see very often, catching fish was not my main priority TBH.
Last year i got japped in to paying £40 for a 1 year Q lake membership when i had been fishing it since it opened and could never give anyone the £10 and then £20 for life membership. Suddenly at £40 a year there was someone to take my money and because it was now £40 per year my mate said not paying that so it cost me £80 to fish the place for 48 hours.
I have become massively disillusioned at just how greedy the carp fishery owners are in general, they seem to think they are doing you a favour when the reality is they are selling you a service and they should get a grip and act accordingly rather than just taking the money and run. Some lakes will welcome you for days on end and then refuse to provide bins, it is laughable.
Anyway as you can see im not too sure i would regret selling my carp gear.

If I was you and that sure I'd sell the bulk of it and keep the bare essentials for the occassional trip, you just never know when the urge will hit you for an overnighter or 48hr session mate
