well i arrived at the river at 09.30 set the pole up at about 7 mtrs using bread punch

waited 10 minutes before i got my 1st fish a small roach
the wind was bad today as well as the rain i dont like putting the brolly up but the rain was that bad even my pole off the brolly bent with the wind

i stayed till 13:00hrs had a few roach and a couple of skimmers

Good effort Neil. I sat for 4 hours on the bank the other day and only managed 1 perch about 2 oz. God it was cold.Roll on spring.

Neil get a solid threaded brolly pole. They dont bend and they can be screwed into hard ground.
